For me, motherhood is a bit like being thrown into the deep end of a pool when you can barely swim. I had no idea how ignorant I was about everything kid-related until I had to know anything kid-related. 

Kids' movies included.

The moment I discovered my 4 year-old was a movie addict was the moment I discovered I knew nothing about kids' movies. Watching an average of 2 films a week has made for a lot of hits and a lot of nightmare-inducing misses.

If only someone would just tell me what to watch and what to avoid, I thought to myself. 

And so a blog was born.... 

A quick note:
All the reviews are my own completely subjective opinions, with some contributions from my 4 year-old.  I include information about red flag words and violence not as a condemnation, but as a head's up. The rating system is based on the film's suitability for kids and overall enjoyability.
